Through our Wovenware Giving Committee, we’re committed to giving back to the community and wanted to give people the opportunity to learn about technology and/or programming. That’s why we went into partnership with Terminal34pr, a non-profit organization that provides education to those who know little or nothing about programming, or who want to expand their knowledge in other computer topics or programming languages.
Through this partnership with terminal34pr, we held a workshop at our corporate office, totally free of charge and open to the public and to employees who are interested in learning about basic programming. I even took part in the workshop.
Our plan with this program is to bring a greater understanding of technology to our local community. Our goal is to continue to host workshops and seminars and offer other courses because we know there are so many more computing skills that people want to learn.
In conclusie
We are proud of our employees’ commitment to serving our community and for giving their time to our Giving Committee initiatives. We are committed to making a difference in our community and supporting education across Puerto Rico to make a brighter future for our children.
